Our transition-to-school programme is coordinated by Deputy Principal Jenny Ram. To organise school visits, please contact her by email at jennyr@pukeatua.school.nz

We are committed to providing inclusive support for all learners and offer a range of pathways to meet individual learning and behaviour needs.
Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Individual Behaviour Plans (IBPs) are developed when needed to support student success.
We work closely with parents, caregivers, external agencies, and specialist services to ensure effective support plans are in place.
Transition-to-school programmes are tailored to meet the unique needs of each child, helping them settle confidently into school life.
Our SENCo and teachers develop Classroom Education Plans (CEPs) to support the diverse learning, wellbeing, and engagement needs of all students within the classroom.
Learning assistants provide additional support across all classrooms.
We strive to maintain smaller class sizes whenever possible to enable personalised learning and stronger relationships.
Through these approaches, we aim to create a supportive, inclusive, and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.
We are a non-zoned school, so we welcome enrolments throughout the year. We look forward to welcoming you and your child to begin their learning journey with us.
